What catches people out
The recurring mistake is computing a single sentiment or volume figure across the whole language and then being unable to explain why it swings. What usually happened is that an election in one country flooded the stream and drowned out a dozen others. Nothing about the underlying subject changed; the composition of the sample did. Any aggregate over Spanish that is not partitioned or weighted by market is measuring publication activity rather than the thing it claims to measure.
A worked case
To follow one company in its home market only, combine the language filter with the outlets published in that country and an entity filter for the organisation. Drop the outlet constraint and the same query returns commentary from every market the company trades in — a legitimate result, and rarely the one anyone actually asked for. The difference between those two result sets is usually larger than people expect.

Deepest in regional politics, energy and commodities, and football. Business coverage is substantial in the larger economies and noticeably thinner in the smaller ones, so cross-country volume comparisons say more about local press size than about activity.

These figures are provisional. They are measured from the public source the index is built from rather than from the index itself, because the query endpoint is not yet reachable from the build. They are the right order of magnitude and the outlets and headlines are real, but they should not be quoted as coverage guarantees until a snapshot taken against the API replaces them.
A page exists for this language because the index carries enough Spanish coverage from enough distinct outlets to answer a real question about it. Languages that do not clear that bar deliberately have no page rather than a page that implies coverage which is not there.
