What catches people out when querying Bulgarian?
Querying in transliterated Latin script because the Cyrillic is inconvenient to type. This returns only the small fraction of coverage that itself uses Latin transliteration, which skews heavily toward outlets writing for a foreign audience and misses the domestic reporting entirely. The result set looks plausible and is not representative.
A worked case
